And you've really got it all wrong about "money"; I'm not in this for pay or money. I'm not "cashing in". It's purely a matter of pride: another guy taking credit for work I did...and then defiantly admitting that he hasn't, but this shouldn't be a reason for him to stop taking credit? I like our new fellow--he's witty, he's funny, and his posts are fucking A1 material all around. We're just being cheeky, tDD, because that's what we do. Of course, you already know that.

Anyway, I think the core issue here is Wert is getting sponsored at all these cons and events under the illusion he's still the go-to guy and top contributor to the show wikia and that is clearly a proven falsehood. Personally, I'm kinda surprised Wert's pulling a George on his own project, as we've had a running gag for years on Wert being this comical Skynet/cyborg/Jane from Speaker of the Dead type sapient AI who's cloned himself so he can be anywhere on the Internet presenting his "facts" and insider info. This used to be the guy, as George's most prolific mouthpiece, who had 100 posts under his name to everyone else's 5 on any given forum on which he showed up. And now he's binge-watching "The Strain" at 2 AM and live-tweeting about it, lol. I guess the "fame," along with cues from George with his total lack of work ethic, got to his head.

Very interested in seeing how this all pans out, and especially how the other admins officially weigh in. Personally, if I were involved in the wikia, I'd vote to kick him and that has nothing to do with the man Wert himself, just everything to do with the inactivity and getting sponsored to show up on con panels.

TGRD, ever thought of putting your talents to the official westeros wikia? You could really clean that shit up over there.... a number of the articles are obscenely sloppy and about as concise and to the point as a Dance with Dragons travelogue sequence. You'd butt heads with Ran immediately... he has no capacity to appreciate the "lesser is more" mentality when it comes to a wiki. From what I've seen of the Game of Thrones wikia, you run a tight ship--and the official ASOIAF wikia really needs a good kick in the arse, or a dragonfire enema.
